BOLUSIL ® and radiotherapy
Silicone bolus for radiotherapy, equivalent to human tissue.
BOLUSIL ® is a silicone elastomer sheet placed in contact with the area to be treated, between the skin and the radiation source. It corrects surface irregularities and brings the maximum dose up to the skin.

It is flexible and follows body contours, transparent so placement can be checked, and easy to cut with scissors.
BOLUSIL ® was developed in collaboration with the Centre Léon Bérard, the comprehensive cancer centre in Lyon, France.

BOLUSIL ® is a class I non-invasive medical device, CE marked.
Where it is used
BOLUSIL ® is used by around a hundred radiotherapy centres in France, and in Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and the Czech Republic.
